I suggest that you spend some time talking to God, and ask him to begin to show you why things are going in this direction and how to align yourself with the plan that He is crafting for your life. I had paid my deposit ($600.00) and was about to schedule my classes. At the last minute I realize that my parents cant do a Plus loan for me, because it's too risky. Their house would be on the line! I understand they're reasoning for not doing it. But ever since middle school I have wanted to go to an HBCU. But fortunately for me my older sister had connections at Bowling Green State University. (Mostly white folks) so I am going somewhere. But on top of not going to Hampton, my boyfriend just recently broke up with me, and my best friend and I aren't cool any more. All of this happened back to back. I'm happy about being able to go to Bowling Green. One good thing is next year I'll be able to transfer to Hampton! i can't wait! I think I just needed to vent. Whew...
