There may be a city chapter, or you can do like he said and pledge at another school. Or you may wish to consider another school.

I think thats a little bit extreme....but if it is truly in your heart to want to join one of these organizations you can always go grad. But there are some special situations where you can stay at your school and pledge a chapter at another school. Case in point: My girlfriend goes to a small liberal arts college that has NO greek system at all. Therefore all the students who want to "pledge" either a BGLO or a PWGLO join at the major state university that is down the street from them. And as stated before there are City Wide Chapters in cities with alot of local universities. Atleast its like that in Chicago and St.Louis

I said that, because if someone chooses to go to a school with no greek system or no social life, they may be robbing themselves of the true "undergraduate" experience. College isn't always about books people. It takes more than academics to develop a complete person.

Talk to someone in the organization that you are interested in. Not just any ol'body. Trina's cousin's baby's mama's auntie who's a Delta won't do. Talk to someone who has a regional position in the region you'll be attending school. Because you are not always allowed to pledge at another school just because your school doesn't have a chapter, it's best to find out the proper procedures from the proper authorities. We can give you all the advice in the world based on what we heard, but it would be best to get official instructions from an official source. Good luck!

When I wanted to pledge there was no Greeks on my campus but 2 other schools in the city had them so I decided to pledge at another School. That was in Fall '02, since I have crossed we have started a chapter at my school and since I we (A Phi A) sparked interest in Greeks and now we have A Phi A, Q Psi Phi, Sigma, Kappa, Zeta, and Delta chapters. Somebody has to bring to the school so why not YOU. Ice Aged Fall '02 "Aces" represent!!!
