I agree with everyhing you said. And I understand how some people would feel about being hazed, and then the people who hazed you are now your " best friends. " But I just feel it is all apart of being initiated. I still want to pledge because I wanna feel what its like to really be apart of a sisterhood, and also I would get to be in the step shows stepping :lol:

Now as far as what organizations stand for and their purpose I think it depends. I might see one thing in a sorority and someone else might have a totally different view of them. Their are bad apples in everything, that's life but if you honestly feel like you can't proudly represent that organization, then don't pledge. If they dont represent what you think a true sisterhood/brotherhood is, then don't pledge. It's really that simple. The only thing I would be concerned with is making sure that Im truly pledging for the right reasons. :wink:
