Is there really Greek Unity on YOUR campus?

Ok fellow greeks I have a question as the Neo that I am. Is there really Greek Unity on YOUR campus? On our campus, within the NPHC, they stress that Greek Unity should be promoted throughout, however, I am failing to see that AT ALL! I make sure I speak to those who I KNOW are apart of the Divine 9(granted I can't possibly know everyone) even when I am not in my paraphanelia. I still get the looks, the comments, and some other things as well.... I mean Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.(!!!!!!!)is not really big on our campus, and we are the first line since 2003 (meaning: there are just 5 of us(all Neos) on campus), but we are all really cool INDIVIDUALS! Now dont get me wrong, we are one unit, however, I have noticed that new Neos are even joining in in the kicks of bashing each other... like some friends of mine who joined other orgs. I walk with a smile on my face almost all the time and speak to whomever, thats just the type of person I am and I think it looks kind of bad when there are so many of us on campus and we don't work together to provide that positive image, or reach common goals. We are all greek, no matter the letters, we all stand for different things, we are all SUPPOSED to do community service and uphold the community, but dang do we have to go around treating each other like this on college campuses? Are we not bigger than that?

It hurts boo. Bring it up at a Pan-Hel meeting. Shame them suckas into acting right! Also, I see you single letter chapter!!!

At tennessee state university (TSU) the sigmas have no beef with anybody but folks think we have somethng against the men from alpha phi alpha. That is not the case at all. We are some real as Niccas with respect for every organization out there. However, there are organizations who look at me and some of my bruhs wrong. Heeey that is how greek life is. Everybody out there is not going to agree with what you pledged. U have to look beyond those folks and continue to do you. Feel Me.

There used to be... its fading away as of late. When i crossed spring 04 it was a beautiful thing. All of the NPHC orgs, PMA, KKPsi, Groove Phi Groove... we all got along VERY well for the most part. Mostly do to the fact that many of us were cool previous to doing whatever we chose to do. And we got along with everybody who wasn't in org... there was nothing but love (although there were some very minute beefs here and there but they didn't matter). anyway... since alot of the old guard started to graduate things have been changing. The whole dynamic of greek life on campus has been changing and therefore peoples attitudes have as well. I can't really put a finger on whats going on... but people definitely aren't vibing like we were fall 03 to spring 05. I wanna say at least when i went to school it was great... but it should still be even tho i'm not there much anymore.
