It'll be okay Tiph!!! Gurl...i know i've experienced tha same thang...u juss gotta keep yer head up and keep yer cool. Cause there's been a couple of times where i've been tempted to cuss folks out. AND u got to make me real mad to make me wanna cuss at people. But u said what was up and u didnt hold it back. As long as he knows now...maybe he won't end up doin it again. AND if he decides to...dont go crazy...cause thats what white folks wanna see. They wanna see the BLACK gurl act quote unquote BLACK! Soooo dont let him get the best of u. And keep ya head up ma!

im feelin u on that. i play golf or whateva and whenever my college team goes on tourneys we play white schools and we always get comments like oh look at all those tiger woods'!bullsh!t man...

Damn Tiph. Thats really...really fucced up. But I'm proud of you. You handled yourself like a woman should. So he'll know not to say nothing ignorant around you agian. And like mentioned before if he does....CONTINUE to put him in his place with maturity and sooner or later people will realize the level of his immaturity and might even have enough balls to put him in his place themselves. Don't worry about the people who are sitting there doing nothing, they just lack the courage, but I doubt you are the only person in there that feels this way about his biogoted comments.

yep yep, what she said...so sorry you had to experience this, tiph... it's amazing how absolutely **** people can be... i remember in high school, i had this white male friend....& we were pretty cool - not tight tight...just cool @ school or whateva.... and he wuz very much an upfront racist...but it wuz like...i always just laughed about it 'cuz he wouldn't really make remarks about blacks (even tho i know he'd be thinking it)...it was mostly about Mexicans and others...NOT SAYING THAT MAKES IT RIGHT...just, sometimes, u can't help but to laugh @ ignorance....i mean, case & point - i end up bustin' a gut everytime i watch "All In the Family" - 'nuff said.... & besides that aspect of him, he wuz MAD COOL... but 1 day my senior year...we were in the same english class...he sat in the chair right in front of me....it was an honors class, & i was one of 4 blacks in it - everyone else was white, w/ a total of like 30 students in the class.... it was i think Black History Month...& the particular day our school chose 2 celebrate it....& he mentioned 2 me that he doesn't understand why we (Blacks) have our own song (the "Negro National Anthem")... he was like, "it ain't like there's a country out there called 'Negroland'" or SOME stupid ish like that BOOYYYYYY all i know iz i wuz soundin' off up in that class 4 the next like 5 minutez....my friend Alex (the same one i'm REAL cool w/ now) sat right behind me & said afterwardz that he wuzn't even paying attention 2 what we had been talkin' about, but next thing he knew, i wuz doin that 'head-twirlin' thing, lol...wavin' my finger back & forth & ish... i couldn't help it, man...he **** me off so much.... another white male student came 2 our school earlier that morning with a humongous Confederate flag on the trunk or hood of his car as well....tryna be funny...he was sent home, but i think that same white friend of mine wuz tryna justify that ish too... after that day, we didn't talk again 4 a MIN...i wuz so **** @ him... jackie knowz who i'm talkin' about....

I know exacly how u feel mama. I went to boarding school and I had to deal with these ignit **** rich white kids plus some rednecks from the surrounding area. U did the right thing, more power to you

Aww, I'm so sorry!! Damn I feel for u! I experience that everyday in my math class, but since I have no self-esteem and no confidence in myself to talk back, in that kind of situation, I would have just ignored it...I respect you becuz you stood up, and I'm now looking you as inspiration, that I can stand up for what's right and not be a coward. Sad
