All that getting to know someone and blah blah sounds good in story books. And if you do that, Roo to you.
For the people who choose to keep it real in here know gotdamn well that they have their particular interest in certain qualities that someone needs to possess on the outer before you even look towards the inner. It's human nature. Survival of the fittest. And sorry to say my friends, but an **** duckling is by far not going to survive...except in a few cases.
Now, as far as preferred orgs is concerned...for those of us that keep it real, know that we tend to indulge in the hype and stereotypes behind the orgs...some take it one extreme or the next, most of us tend to remain in the middle and enjoy it one both sides of the fence. Like I said earlier, I love STEREOTYPICAL AKA's. Am I wrong for that? No. That's like telling someone they're wrong for liking vanilla ice cream over chocolate and saying something dumb like "you gotta look at the inside (ingrediants) instead of the worrying about the outside (flavor)".
 Now I will have to say that the story book comment was classic...No really I admired that...Because I also say the same thing that idealistically and realistically is two totally different things....But to aid and abed in the ignorance is not my style....Yes I believe that some people do feed into the stereotypes....BUt does that make it right, logical, or even note worthy for that matter no....You are responding to me...And I do appreciate that....But that ice cream comment was a little off base....We are talking about people not food....And not that your reason isn't valid but it doesn't make it any less shallow, shady, or ignorant....
