Thank GOD!
I just recieved text messages from my roomie and good friend this morning that they were rescued and sent to Grambling an Southern. I'm sure once they get cell batteries charged up they have got a story to tell!
I still haven't heard from my bf, but I'm keeping my hopes up.
That just so made my day to hear from them!
Ok so I'm feeling a bit better today... still feeling a bit strange but getting used to calling all of the schools around here and buying some clothes so I don't have to walk around the house in pj's anymore.
Well I actually found the clip that shows what XULA looks like now and the link is
http://www.cnn.com/video/us/2005/08/31/mattingly.levee.breaks.cnn/content.exclude.html
And if anyone wants to put up their schools emergency info. Xavier's is www.xulaemergency.com and the emergency phone number is
1-866-520-XULA(9852).

Leave hem without any sort of protection such as, road blocks, insurgent quartined areas, patrols? So are you going to blame him for the war,and how his precognition allowed him to see the impending doom of N.O. and he went to war regardless? I bash Bush for fun plenty, and I do also believe that we are too deep in International affairs for our own good. But you know, complaining about it doesn't do a damned thing. Not one. Intellectuals don't exacerbate the problem, they solve it.
