What are some things, whether it's rappers, slang, styles of dress, dances, clubs, etc. that only people in your hometown or state know about? For example, if somebody from a different region was like "oh so you from _____ so I know you like to...." you'd prolly get excited and respond like "daaamn what you know about that!!!"

I don't know if it's been said already, but it looks like I'm the only one on campus that ties my jeans to my shoes (not using rubber bands)...I guess it's just a L.A. thing :?

^^^ I wonder if I've seen you on campus.. I probably would've laughed at that whole concept ... what happens if you can't get your shoes off? And how exactly do you tie your jeans to your shoes w/o rubberbands?

   It's not like that, you just tie the front part of your jeans to your shoes.....it's like....you're tying your shoes, and you just include the front part of your jeans. Trust me, it looks the same as the rubber band thing. I'm sorry, but I did laugh at people I saw with rubberbands on their jeans....

LOL definitely somethin most of us from LA do. I do it so that my jeans don't drag on the ground, because most people have to cuff their jeans or either they just let em hang and thats how they get all torn up in the back and get dirty. But I put the front part over where it's tied at so you wouldn't even know I do it til I lifted my jeans up
