I went to Howards open house today:4/22 my input

Okay lovely people of HBCU's here are my imputs on D.C, Howard and everything in between(if u care to know): D.C- * I'll have to un-learn how to properly drive because it seems no one knows how to drive *pedestrians dont stop at red lights i guess and walk slowly across on green *too too too much traffic everywhere *bold **** bums from D.C *houses that are conjoined and painted in extreme colors (whats that about?) *it'll take some adjusting Howard- *a tad bit unorganized especially when it came to financial aid time *beautiful people. honestly almost all the girls looked like models and a lot of attractive men also *loved the stores by howard. one i especially would love to shop at is up against the wall *a lil bit ghetto *i didnt talk to anybody which sucked. Overall- Im lookin forward to the experience, if anybody who reads this goes to Howard or will be going please respond with ur own views on the subject

Hey yall...bout the dorms. Everytime i've been to Howard for a college tour/open house we've never gotten to see the dorms. However, i've seen the inside of the Annex(i met a gurl there who was mad excited & wanted to show us lol...) and i've seen the inside of the rooms in Drew Hall b/c my boys were freshmen this year(which doesn't really help yall gurls wantin to know lol). I have no idea what the rooms in the Quad look like though. If they're anything like the rooms in Drew, then they're typical college dorms. They're not extremely small, but small enough. And the ones i've seen aren't in the box-y type layout...more rectangular. I'on know yall lol, guess we'll have to see when we get there!

im too lazy to do it, but shoya star put pics up of the howard dorm a few months bak...so they should still be here... and i used to stay in crandall 311 holla at me...then i moved to Meridian...and now on to off campus land...yup...all gorwn up ::tear::... holla at me if yall have any questions tho!

I just think it is so funny that the website doesn't want to show the dorms. so we ask the students and then all of them say they are too lazy....im thinkin they hidin' something... :-k *When are they gonna give me my room assignment??* I feel so left out.
