I stayed in the Annex last year and I wouldnt have had it any other way. The social scene in the Quad is definitely better, but your dorm experience will be what you make of it. When I felt like clownin' and getting away, I went and chilled with my friends in the Quad and in other dorms, but I knew that when I wanted some peace and quiet that I could always count on that staying in the Annex so I felt like I got the best of both worlds (plus me and my roomie grew to be like sisters). No matter where you stay, you got to get out and meet people in other dorms. If you limit yourself to your roomies, suitemates, people on your floor, etc. then it'll get old real quick. Good luck to all the incoming freshmen! I hope your first year will be as enjoyable as mine. Maybe I'll see some of ya'll around in the Annex next year
