Unfortunately I missed the first hour of it, but from what I seen towards the end it didn't look thatt hot, but i dunno. That opening dance routine Usher put on was Tightt as Heyel though!!! Dancin sideways, But it seemed like there was alot of Grown Folks music & movie stuff on there though. Is it just me or does it seem like BET markets the whole show as being extremely youthful and vibrant in the commercials, with all kinds of hip hop & r&b acts gracing the stage 100% of the time? but when the show comes on theres like 2 hours of throwback songs & lifetime achievement awards?? If your gonNa show all this, show it in tha commercials! don't sugar coat it and trick us into watching the show.

That's exactly what made the show enjoyable. And the props given to the grown folks music is exactly what is needed. There were plenty of "grown folk" watching. Besides, even though BET does spend too much time pandering to silly hip-hop videos, they do show movies, have news shows, show gospel, and do tributes to icons. I thought this was the best show since the very first one.

I gotta give it up one time for Lisa Raye's **** and two times for Jacque Reid's twins. Those entities brought my eyes great joy after the show.
