what are some dumb things that young black people do that you just don't get? >sagging pants this style actually originated in prison. wearing your pants down like that was a way to let everybody else know that you "belonged to someone else". you know...that you were "taken". whenever the dominant prisoners saw someone walking around with sagging prison pants, they knew not to mess wih them because they were already somebody else's b!tch. what else can you come up with?

i think that instead of focusing on the bad things that we have done we should focus on the postive things that uplift the community. yea its true that there are some things out there that we would like to change by if we can start but focusing on the positive things and bettering (is that a word?) ourselves then we can become positive role models for the children of the future. i think that too much time is spent on the negative things that black people have been doing in the society. especially in the media and the news. they can often times portray black people as animals that like to steal and ****. look at **** katrina. all im saying is that we need to better ourselves and look towards a positive future for all black people whether they are wrong or right!

bill cosby's rants have made me be more comitted to the lifestyle that i live as an upstanding member of society....so what we can't speak the truth when it needs to be said? like i said before, we've been dishonest with ourselves as a race for the past 30 something years and played **** all the day long...has that helped us? getting babied by **** hasn't helped us not one bit.
