...they really needed it? This is a true story that happend to me... I was driving my mothers car to the store and I got caught in a bad thunderstorm. I didnt have an umbrella and it was POURING down raining outside. My mom keeps a Delta Sigma Theta umbrella in her car. (clearly Im not a Delta because I am a male). Anyway, I said fukk it and I took the umbrella with me inside the store. Personally I didnt think it was a big deal...but hey, thats just me. Would you let someone real close to you wear/use your nalia if they really needed it? Like if you have on your frat jacket and your girlfriend gets cold, would you let her wear it to keep warm? Or if a friend needs to go out in the rain but doesnt have an umbrella would you let them use yours even though it clearly has letters on it and they are not a member of that organization?

I guess I am a pretty understanding and casual person...I don't think about certain things really deep like that. If it's raining, and my friend is stuck in the rain, and all I have is my greek umbrella, well, hunny, GET UNDER! Now I am sure if it's cold, my boyfriend does NOT want to wear my greek varsity letterman! LOL!

Hell no! I do not care if they were caught in rain, hail, sleet, or even snow.

its funny cuz i just had an experience related to this not too long ago where my friend had to borrow my car. i didnt think that much of it until she came back and told me how people were lookin at her crazy askin if she had just crossed cuz not only was she drivin my car (which have AKA tags), but she also had my AKA keychain with her. to make matters worst, she's a Delta interest! lol. needless to say, she will never borrow my car ever again

Like What Has Been Said Before, It Would Depend On The Circumstances in Which the Nalia Was needed. If Its An Umbrella, that's one thing, but a shirt or a jacket, that's completely different...

I would let a fellow soror where my stuff, only because she has earned it.. But the situation would have to be very serious for me to lend my non-greek friend my Perry.

Yesterday I was out to lunch with a friend. I needed a pen to sign my credit card slip and asked my friend if she had one. She stated " All I have is my Delta pen." She didn't look in her purse to get it so I just waited for the waiter to come back. I wasn't really offended because this is pretty much how she approaches anything involving her Delta paraphernalia. I actually thought that was the way all greeks felt. Its nice to get a different perspective.

if someone is my friend, im not going to be so petty as to not allow them to borrow a pen. now if i didn't like the person or they were an interest, that would be a different story!

That's very petty. She must be a neo...
