What, if any information does anyone have about the Masons. I have done my research and everything seems cool, but I just need that reassurance from a group of people. So if you know anything please let me know. :?:

I'm sure you know that there is plenty of information on the internet in regards to what u just asked about. I suggest you research more. I've notice a lot of pros and cons when it comes to doing it. Again, you'll never until you join.

actually I've considered the masons also so I think I'll sit back and see what kind of info comes in. *sits down with a cup of Apple Kool-Aid and a few pieces of cornbread*

LOL.... It is SOOOO funny to me once people start talking about the PHAmily like this. First things first....MASONS and EASTERN STARS are not cult organizations....we do not believe we follow Satan.... and we are not all going to hell. THANK YOU.... I have heard so many times that people think the PHAmily is all about secrets and whatnot...U gotta ?... and its not pertaining to an INGNORANCE **** statement. Ask away....

Okay Im the only one who said something about a cult so Im assuming that you are making that remark towards me but if u READ what I said I CLEARLY stated that I made jokes about her GIRLS ASSEMBLY being a cult NOT about ES .. But if u werent referring to me then u can continue with whatever u were saying but my question is what is the purpose of an Eastern Star

^^no... i wasn't directing my comment to u. actually last summer i got into it with someone on HBCU-Central for about 3 weeks back and forth about this same matter. He made all those references and that's where those came from. Newayz... The Order is a service organization. Some of our roots have religious holds and as a matter of fact, our Heroines are depicted in the Bible. That's why its so funny how people think its a cult and things of that nature. Of course I can't tell u EVERYTHING about us, but if u really wanna know ASK and don't ASSUME.

Nah I dont wanna know EVERYTHING .. Actually I know what it is .. I just dont see their purpose .. So I thought Id ask u for a second opinion .. Everything I wanna know about OES I already know .. If I dont know then I dont need to not cuz Im definitely not interested in joining but best of luck to u tho

you'd actually be suprised bout how many people are curious about OES and Masons....and I know a lot of greeks that are masons or oes...from what i've herad, there is a connection between the 2.
