How did you decorate your dorm room to make it liveable

hay hbcu students iam a entering freshman and i just noticed how **** and small dorm rooms are any advice on how to spice up my new home

Okay, so I'm living in room 112 of my hall, and I figured I should probably make it the jump off. A few upperclassmen have told me blacklights are key, so I'm with that. I've also located some zebra print satin sheets with matching pillowcases and bedspread. That looks pretty tight, too.... A nice thick rug will do well, not sure on a color or pattern yet, though. Some wall decoration will be necessary. I've got some posters up now, but I may lose them to go with a more unified scheme that ties into the room as a whole. I think a sign for the door is needed, too. Also, depending on the look and amount of space going on, some rearranging of the furniture might be necessary. So hopefully if all goes well, this place should look livable by the time visitation starts...

AIIGHT HERE YOU GO YOU CAN DO IT LIKE THIS YOU CAN START WITH A POSTER FO WHAT U LIKE TO DO AND PUT THAT ABOUVE YOUR BED CUZ IN MY ROOM I GOT SOME PICTURES OF MY GRADUATION AT HIGH SCHOOL AND SOME PICTURES AT HOME AND SOME POEMS THAT PEOPLE HAVE WROTE EM TAHT I LOOK AT TO KEEP MY SELF ON TRACK WHILE IM HERE AND MY FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM IS THE BALTIMORE RAVENS SO I HAVE A RAVENS FOOTBALL THATS AUTO GRAPHED IN MY ROOM ON MY DESK AND MY BED SET IS MIXED WITH BLUE BLACK AND WHITE MY FAVORITE COLORS SO START WITH THAT AND AS UR THERE YOU WILL BUILD ON BE FORE U KNOW IT YOU BEEN CHANGED YOUR SIDE OF THE ROOM LIKE YOUR HOUSE......HOLDING IT DOWN FOR THE GREEN ANDGOLD AT NSU IM OUT :!:
I brought my stuffed animals, put some curtains up, matching bedspreads with my roommate, a little rug, stereo, t.v., computer, and a fridge. I like my room everything matches even the futon chair.
