Well, I stayed at Phase III for a spell...six people in an apartment that would've been suited for no more than three. You'll still have FAMU's crap-**** furniture and you CANNOT move it out of your apartment, not to mention FAMU's rules. Don't like surprise inspections or being fined for having trash bags outside your door? Better move off-campus. Thinking of hanging up some curtains? HA! The walls are made up of painted brick. No matter what you do and no matter what people say, the apartments are nothing but dorms. Dorms with a stove, but dorms nonetheless. Oh, and you're too far away from campus to get anywhere in a timely fashion. If you're going to class, you better leave your place some 15-20 minutes before it starts.
Not too sure how old you are, but if you're over 21, do yourself a favor and move off-campus. Believe me, you'll have plenty of time to network between and after classes. Living with silly kids just getting their first taste of freedom will wear your nerves. Even if you sympathize with them - and I did - my sympathy stopped short of coming out of pocket because some idiot snuck a girl in through his bedroom window. And if you're going to stay IN the dorms? NO FEMALES, period! You better get your love on in the lobby. Even if you're in an apartment, she'll have to be gone at a certain hour - ten on weekdays, I think, and midnight on the weekends. And I THINK they're not allowed to be in your room at all, only the living area. I don't recall, as my boyfriend practically slept in my room.
