as an interested individual how do i keep from being forgotten since im gone during an important summer. hope im not doing to much by asking.

Well ya'll are better than me. Becuz I am certainly not a phone person. My mother barely even hears from me. I'll ignore a call in a second

How about, attend programs in the fall. People don't want to be thinking about prospects during the summer. They want to live their lives.
If you want to REALLY be known how bout you post your name, social security number, picture, email address, hometown, your org of interest, phone number, the chapter you want to join, the school you attend and why you think the org. BETTER pick you.
THAT should DEFINITELY keep folks talking...
