I know about that one... still heated I couldn't go last year LOL Maybe a Bahamas or Jamaica trip... that would be off the chain... I'll leave the cruisin' to HBCUConnect.

Of course I love cruises. I have been on 2 separate 7-day cruises and I don't seem to get seas-sick, no matter how rough the waters are (*knock on wood*). YEAH, I love it. We are hoping to have another HBCU Alumni cruise in '08. We didn't do one this year, but since we been on 2 since 2005, it had gotten around the time of year when we usually take a cruise and we were like, MAN, I miss the cruise! lol!

I'm glad you don't like boats b/c the captain on my first cruise told us. "This isn't a boat, it's a ship. A boat is what you fish from, this is a ship! So don't call it a boat." lol But seriously, I think you'll enjoy it. Try a 3-4 day cruise to see how you deal with it. What exactly is your fear of boats? Motion sickness? Drowning? Need of stability?
PRAISE THE LORD!!! It's not the motion sickness that I don't like. I don't even know if that will bother me. I don't like the fact that I'm surrounded by water. What if something goes wrong??? I guess I should have never watched the Titantic. LOL For real though, I like to go for walks and walking around in an oval is not my idea of relaxing!!! Now that I think about it I can't even say that I don't like boats/ships because I haven't had a bad experience on one.

They have life boats and jackets, if that's of any comfort.

PRAISE THE LORD!!! Actually that is comforting to know. I guess I just grew up hearing so much negative stuff about boats/ships that I have prejudiced myself against them, because when I think about it, I don't have a "REAL" reason not to like them. "C" I think you're right...I might need to just take a cruise!!!
