and did I mention I'm not paying a red cent either time
Y'know... this wasnt a movie was really waiting to see, only because i really didn't like the first one. I mean the guy who played the villian in the first movie did an incredible job, but Toby and (dang i forgot her name) the girl who plays Mary Jane i really didnt like them at first. But now, seeing the 2nd movie, everyone from the first Spiderman movie has really grown into their characters, and I was very pleased with the movie. I definately enjoyed watching. The visual effects, the acting and the story line were on point. The perfect love story. But there is just one lil' thing they did in the movie that didnt happen in the comics, that I don't agree on. But besides that I actually can't wait to see the next one!
The movie did go further from the comic continuity, but that's okay, there's plenty of room in the spidey-universe.
BUT THE MOVIE WAS EXCELLENT. This trilogy of movies is going to be on the Godfather/Star Wars/LOTR level. They didn't change the whole "a chick flick wrapped around special effects" and that's okay. There were some emotions that had to be expressed to drive the story. It also allowed the audience to remember that Spider-Man is more human than spider.
It deserved every bit of it's four-stars. My only problem was in this theater in South Carolina nobody clapped. A movie that damn good in Durham would have gotten a standing ovation.
In my opinion,it was not what it was cranked up to be....it was good though....
I just look forward to part three cause it will be interesting now that a new plot and twist has unfolded :!: :!: :!:
i went to see this movie the sunday after it came out...it was GREAT!!!
