Well I know that some foreigners call patio (patwa) an English Creole lol but nobody in the west indies really calls it that.......from hangin around my haitian friend I learned how to to talk the basics of Kreole (informal French) so maybe thats what your reffering to the Haitians language is widley called Kreole.

Are you all familiar with the Gullah language? If not, It’s a creole language spoken by people that live on the coast of South Carolina and Georgia. Example Alltwo dem 'ooman done fuh smaa't. "Both those women are really smart."

Anyone knows the language spoken in Aruba? It is a combination of Dutch, English, French, Portuguese, and other stuff. It is awesome to listen to.

My English teacher was Gullah and so was one of my cohorts, and so I got familiar with the language from them. To tell the truth, it didn't sound that different from what I usually hear at home.
