hey i'm planning on pledging aka in college. i really want to, and i'm a legacy. but what if i'm horrible at stepping. do i have to step. i'm going to be honest, i go to an all white prep school, and never really learned how to dance as pathetic as that might sound. i know aka's love to step what will happen if i just can't get it? many people have told me just go to a white school, and don't pledge. but i don't want that. i really want to attend spelman, and become an aka. will i be ridiculed for being a bad stepper. please help.

Sometimes I have to step back and realize that the world does not revolve around AFRO. Look forward to your response. ttyl. @Orca, I agree with smc. Becareful who you show interest to. If you truly are interested your actions should speak for themselves. And no, I believe all of the divine nine have anti hazing policies.Still i suggest you keep your actions and mouth in check... thats a no no on black campuses... try to befriend other prospects... you can spot them because they will be at all the events like you. They can share knowledge with you etc. I wish you luck, and whether you have rhythem or not, If you put forth extra work... you wont look crazy during step shows.
