Your Franchise Player

If you could build a NBA team around one player who would he be and why?

tracy mc grady... i will go as far to say that he needs some one who can pick up the slack for him.. its so sad watchin him do everything... now when allan houstons (nyk) contract is finish... he is the perfect guy to complement, tracys game. allan houston good **** for mc gradys on and off days.

Ben Wallace. As much as I (still) love my Lakers, Shaq is not someone I would be interested in centering (no pun intended) my franchise around. Big Ben is fresh, he's a monster on the boards, and he's slowly but surely making himself the new "Beast" of the NBA, which what shaq used to be 4 or 5 years ago. And besides...whats an NBA team without a good big man? As for the NFL, I would base my offense around Steve McNair. When healthy, this guy is the best QB in the NFL. Hands down. No questions asked. When he's not healthy, he still was a runner-up for league MVP! He can run, he can pass, he can block, and he can damn sure calls some plays.
