CNN recently posted this video online about a young girl from Houston, Texas who wasn’t allowed into her prom because of the dress she wore. Comments on the video ranged from blaming the parents for lack of control, applaud for the school’s reprimand on the attire, and chastising the girl’s attire.
Is this an outcry for school’s nationwide to set a standard code for attire worn during school hours and at events? Will this lead to a mandatory requirement for school uniforms?
What are your views? Should students be able to wear what they want?

I think its inappropriate for the prom. I think she should have worn something less revealing. A prom is supposed to be an elegant and classy event. Therefore, your attire should reflect elegance.
