Far az roomates and dorm life i dont know much about
I always lived in a campus apt
I dont like the dorm thing cant mess around
But i mean the roomates i have are cool
It's a 4 bedroom and we cool

I'm an only child, so i'm used to havin my own space. Havin a roomate was HELL for me. Not cuz i had to share my space, but becuz my roomate was a psycho lesbian! Not sayin all lesbians are psycho, just this one. She was loud as hell, on all kinds of medication, carried around a blade, had no respect for me while i was sleep or on the phone, her girlfriend stayed in the same dorm so she spent the night all the time, maaaaann...i can go on and on. 1st semester, i wasn't in the room much, spent the night other places or always had a meeting/class to go to and when i wasn't there i was just avoiding her and kickin it elsewhere. But after we had some drama and had a meeting with the RA, i said "bump it, i'm payin for this room too. Ain't nobody runnin me out of my space". So i started to get a lil more verbal with her 2nd semester, and things were a lil better. Love the girl, it was an experience, but i'm not tryna do it again. Next year, I WILL have a single (PRAISE GOD!), and i plan to keep it that way.
SUGGESTIONS: Lay down your rules in the beginning. State everything u like/don't like and everything u can and cannot tolerate. Don't comply with things just to avoid confrontation. If you're not happy with sumthin, speak ya mind, cuz if u hold it in, it'll just build up and you'll go off one day. Learn how to compromise, but still be comfortable in your own space. Hey, you're payin for it...so u might as well be.

get your own crib. It will probably save you some money and definitely some aggravasion. I am about to be a senior and I wish I had invested in my own crib sooner
All I know is when I go to grad school I will NOT be stayin on nobody's campus!
