I got a letter yesterday saying that housing has reached capacity. And I feel some type of way about that because I have been on the Office of Residence Life's ****, and now I'm a freshman and I'm not even sure if I can go if I don't have a place to go. I'll be robbed of the dorm experience JUST because they decided they wanted to respond when they FELT LIKE IT. Lately Howard has really been pissing me off and I haven't even STARTED THERE yet. I'm starting to have regrets about paying that enrollment fee.
But yeah anyways, any recommendations on where I could stay that isn't costly, but isn't in a bad neighborhood? I guess I'm gonna stick it out because HU is still my dream school, but I swear I feel like choking whoever is in charge of all of this.

Thanks everyone for the advice.
As a matter of fact I know people on facebook that are in the same predicament.
I still want to go, so I guess I'll get on that off campus housing. I'm just going to stay positive, hopefully something will work out.
