Yeah Jefferson is full of those crackheads and crazy people. I wouldn't walk down there alone in the evening time. But during the day its okay. It was a party at Fisk last night so Im thinking thats why you saw all those security guards.
Campus life at Fisk can be as fun as you make it. But I think its pretty much like that at any school you attend. There are lots of organizations you can join. If you are interested in running for an office within your class, you can do that also. I decided to do that and I think it was a great experience. There are events on campus, people come to speak about a variety of different subjects. About two weeks ago, Hill Harper was here speaking, which was rather interesting.
Academics are great. That's one thing I can't complain about here a Fisk. The teacher's really do care about you and how your doing in the class. The teachers are available to talk to you and most the time they will make the time to see you if you are having a problem in the class. I guess that's one adavntage of going to a small school.
I dont know if Im transfering as of yet. I would love to stay at Fisk becuase I love the academics and socially, I think its pretty good. But Im thinking about it only becuase Im oringinally from Philadelphia. Its just so expensive going home and coming back for breaks and things. So basically i was looking for a cheaper alternative.
Yeah, going to a smaller school does have its advantages when it comes to getting one-on-one time with professors.
And the travel is mad crazy. I had to go from Atlanta to DC...I got to a point where I just stopped going home LOL!

Do what’s best for you personally. However, if you are happy, I would not transfer. Your college days will be over before you know it. Essentially, you are almost ¼ of the way done. Best wishes with everything.

PS. I am a big fan of Track & Field. Therefore, I am thinking about attending the Penn Relays in Philadelphia. Do you recommend this event? If so, which events, attractions, etc, do you recommend? Thanks for your input!

Yeah, I think if you like them you should go. I went one year and I had fun. I would recommend the college and high school tournaments. They are always interesting. There should be a lot of interesting things going on in the city during that time to, but I would just play those by ear.
