it's between hampton and howard. slightly leaning towards hampton. haven't made the final decision, but i still know that either way i'll be staying on campus. i think some people underestimate the cost of furniture and food. Once you get a table to eat on, a couch, and a bed(if you'd like to leave your old one at home), and then all the things to go in a bathroom, and appliances for the kitchen, and food you would've just been better off living in a dorm where all of that is included. Plus I'd like the freedom in the summer from an apartment. That way I won't still have to pay rent since I won't have school may-august. I also won't have the responsibility of moving an entire apartments worth of furniture to a storage house for those who decide to only rent during the school year.

Why makes you think that there's an age restriction on living on campus...any campus?

If you are enrolled, you can stay on campus. Some people start school late (i.e. Military). In my personal opinion, it’s more exciting to live on campus and much more convenient. In some cases it’s cheaper to live on campus as opposed to off campus. However, it’s possible to find an apartment for the same price or cheaper. It really depends on the city and on campus fee structure. My advice is to perform a cost benefit analysis before you decide. Best wishes with everything.

I honestly did think there was an age restriction. I guess Im stuck on the age thing. Its the 17, 18 yr olds running around. Not saying that their arent any mature ones out there but the school im at now i cant deal with the way they arent taking nothing serious because its starting to interfer with the classes.

Ok, I can understand that. Just wanted to know where you were coming from. I wish you the best!
