In Japanese culture you have valentines day which, of course, lies on Feb. 14. The next day is White Day. WHAT ISSSS White Day you ask? Well Valentines day is the day where guys give girls candy and flowers and ask them if they'll be their Valentine. White day is the exact same thing, however its up to women to give the men gifts. Just as a girl can Not accept a gift of Valentines day, the same can happen on White Day, except its less common because guys usually feel accepted when a girl comes up to them with a cake or any gift at all. Q1. What Celebrations do you celebrate that some other people dont? Anything heritage wise? Q2. Ever rejected a gift on a holiday? From whom and why? Q3. Whats your favorite holiday? Why do you think you like it so much? Q4. Do you celebrate Halloween? Why or Why not?

4. I don't celebrate the meaning behind Halloween, but I do go out and get me some candy. Smh. I'mma tell my kids(IN THE FUTURE) that they arn't getting candy from the devil but they are getting Sweets from the Lord.
I like that idea.
Thanks hun!

Soooo... ...why do they call it "white" day...?
Whoops, I messed up my facts. TRES IS RETRACTING A STATEMENT In Japanese culture its actually backwards - I dont know why I listen to Darryl on everything ****. On Feb 14 WOMEN are able to give any guy they want a gift - chocolate or a bear or anything. Now, On MARCH 14, its White day, whereas guys can (and are mostly expected to) return gifts of gratitude to show they are interested or that they accept the gift. Funny thing is, there are several occasions where a girl will give a guy a gift and he already has a girlfriend, so its hard for him to return the offer without looking as if he is interested in another person. They pull it off somehow. Why "WHITE" day? Because White is thought to be the color opposite of Red. Whereas Red has much to do with passion and love, white has more to do with a concept called 'blanket purity'. Other than that, I really REALLY have no idea. Vocab: Giri-choko: Obligation Chocolate (given from a girl to a guy that she has no feelings for but just as a token of friendship) Honmei-choko ( True love chocolate.......)
