LIFE AFTER DEATH

OKAY, I KNOW A LOT OF YOU IN HERE ARE HIGHLY RELIGIOUS AND BELIEVE IN HEAVEN AND HELL. BUT WHAT DO PICTURE THE AFTER LIFE BEING LIKE? DO U THINK IT WILL BE LIKE THEY PORTRAY IT IN THE MOVIES, U KNOW WITH THE PEARLY GATES, ANGELS IN ALL WHITE AND WINGS FLOATING ON CLOUDS? DO U BELIEVE THAT U WILL COME BACK AS SOMEONE ELSE, REINCARNATION? DO U THINK HELL IS HOT WITH DEMONS AND FIRE? GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS, JUST WANNA KNOW.

thats an interesting outlook that I agree with. from reading the bible I interpret hell as the only place where your soul can truely feel pain.... however, The questions of hell and heaven are essentially unanswerable, similar to that of which hurts more being kicked in the balls or giving birth(no one can experience both) so because no one can go heaven or hell and return to earth to talk about it, its unaswerable( thats my opinion)

yeah...that last idea is real scary... & they're called "Left Behind".... my mama got AND read ALL of 'em (...there r a LOT...& they're all really thick :shock....i read the teen "Left Behind" some years ago...& yeah...it's a real trip... i do believe in an afterlife...Heaven & Hell....& like it's already been mentioned....it does say in the Bible what each will be like.... but have ya'll ever read "1984" by Orsen Wells (*sp)? well, he had a ridiculous fear of RATS....&...well nevamind, i ain't gonna ruin the book, but...i was thinking that it'd be interesting if Hell were like the feeling of the worst feelings ever....like heartbreak...guilt...****....regret...etc. etc. a cuh-ZILLION timez over (imagine that :shock....and being confronted countlessly with your truest & utmost fears ....seeing the worst images...hearing the worst noises....feeling the worst sensations....forEVER.... & Heaven would be the exact opposite... i don't know...I've just thought of the possibility of them being like that, sorta....so i got a wild imagination, **** me :arrow:

^^^^ Yup, I read 1984 back in high school....that book was sumthin serious, and saw the movie...and here at home we have one of the movies of Left Behind. I only watched it once. I dont like to see it.

ibelieve in the after life . i believe in heaven and hell . with all the stuff going on it seems as hell is on earth sometimes. ive always imagined heaven being a reuniuon .ive always imagined hell too be hot and crowded

yea i've been thinkin' that a lot in the last few years.... though we should never under any circumstances take our own lives...this is what we should always keep in mind when our loved ones who r good people die...it's like umm...technically...they're the lucky ones, when ya think about it... but again, let me clarify that THAT IS NO CONDONATION TO COMMIT ****!! u should really try in life & give it your utmost best...& when it's your time to go...it's just your time to go....

I believe that Heaven and Hell do exist, although it is difficult to get a grasp of what those experiences would be like. I also believe that supernatural forces do exist (such as ghosts and communication with spirits) although many of these things exist outside of the realm of God and we are not intended to dig too far into those practices because they can be harmful in many ways. I think that Heaven could be a complete freedom from earthly bonds - not just our bodies, but from the constraints of time, place, and thought. In other words, in Heaven we might actually be able to transcend time to reunite with our loved ones, or to travel supernaturally to places that we don't know exist (or don't exist in the living universe). During this presence in God's eternal home, we would be under his complete protection and free from fear, pain, suffering, and sin. For a picture of what this might be like, read Jonathan Livingstone Seagull as a good analogy. It's a very short read, but it'll open your mind to some things. Holla
