What music artist did you think...

...wasn't gonna last when he/she first came out however long ago...and did??? & who'd you think WAS gonna last...& didn't...? Question came 2 me earlier when I was listenin' 2 this joint by this cd w/ a bunch of different songs on it...& DMX came on....I didn't think he was gonna last... matter of fact, when that joint he had with Faith ("How's It Goin' Down" or somethin' like that) first came out....now don't get me wrong, the song was HOT...i was really feelin' it...but somethin' was tellin' me he wasn't gonna last....lol, boy was i WRONG about that... also...believe it or not....my baby Luda...didn't think he'd last when "What's Your Fantasy" first came out...again, that was my SONG...but i still didn't c him lastin' more than like....maybe 2 or 3 singlez :? (sorry Luda ) Nelly...well actually my mama thought he wasn't gonna last when "Country Grammar" came out....i think i kinda didn't think so either...so much for THAT prediction :? & finally, Ashanti....i remember her & Tweet came out around tha same time....& the question kept being which one of 'em would outlast the other....i always said Tweet, when the topic came up....mostly 'cause she was rollin' wit Missy, Timb, & 'nem, lol...& boooy wuz i WRONG about that too! anyway - what about ya'll...any music predictions of yours gone wrong???

I thought Sauce Money was gonna last but now he's just the ghostwriter of the century I didn't think the St.Lunatics would last (i'm sorta right)
