desktops or laptops

what is more prevalent on campus??? desktops or laptops? im thinkin about getting a laptop, but my mom is scared that i will lose it or get it stolen. are they alot of cases of stolen laptops on campus? :? if there are then ill go ahead and stick wit a desktop. but let a sistah know wuts up

ok, this is off topic, but homedude with the kitten siggy is killin me! "Please, think of the kittens"...too funny :lol: . But ummm...yeah, that's great that u got yourself a new laptop. Lord knows, havin my laptop alot earlier own would have been an extreme blessing. That's ok...it taught me how to hustle. And yeah, u should be able to get sheets at Target. Most definately

yea, we got all that stuff downhere by my house. i went to linens and things and they have mostly everything i ned. so when i get some money i will be out there shopping to make my room more comfy or what not. i have one questions for the c/o 2007 ladies that stayed in the quad... were all the doubles pretty much the same.. (wheatley, baldwin, frazier) or is there a diffrence. when i went to howard for pre-o i made the mistake of not requesting to see those dorms even though i knew would be staying in them. i know there a little bigger than truth and crandall so could somebody help me out and let me know wuts up so i wont buy too much or too little

The rooms are pretty much the same. I stayed in Wheatley and my room was big for a double. However, when I went into Frazier...it seemed like they have the biggest rooms. That could just be me though.

Yep, there is a significant difference of the size of the rooms in the quad. I would say that Truth and Crandall have it the worse. Mainly becuz they are triples, so everything is so bunched up. If u luck up and one of your roomates don't come, which was the deal with my girls (but just for one semester), you can rearrange your room to make it more spacious over there. Wheatley has a pretty nice size. A nice amount of floor space. We even had one triple on our floor and that room was HUGE. Baldwin and Frazier...yeah, they're rooms are very spacious as well. Might be a lil bigger than Wheatley. People used to hate on "Heatley Wheatley" and Baldwin and Frazier becuz we didn't have AC, but i'd take our space any day over being jammed up in a tiny room in Crandall or Truth with AC. My fan worked just fine, thank u very much LOL
