We're in Iraq to remove a dictator from power. Nothing more, nothing less. It should have been done years ago as Saddam has long since been in violation of the Treaty set up during the Geneva Conference. He **** a butchered his own people, or actually the people who are not of his own religious beliefs. Saddam catered to maybe 10% of the Islamic population in Iraq, the percent that was Sunni Muslim. Everyone else (The Shi'ite majority) was brutally treated, butchered and **** by the madman. We put him in power, its only right that we correct that mistake. Yeah we invaded on the notion that he might have WMD's but the fact remains that for years he was there unsupervised. Who exactly is to say what he had or did not have time to remove, destroy or hide? [sarcasm]But wait, we're after the **** that Iraq produces. That's right. I completely forgot. I mean, Iraq produces so much of the **** that comes into America that we simply could not stand by and let it be controlled by that madman.[/sarcasm] If you knew your facts you would know that Iraq produces only a small percent of American ****. I think there like 16th on the list and produce less the 8 or so % of American ****. Now, if we had invaded Venezuela or something, then I might believe that we invaded for reason of ****, as they produce around 20% of ****.
