 I can only half-way understand where you're coming from because I'm also from NY and I didn't really understand the whole sororirty and fraternity thing until I went to college. But, college is a place where you learn and grow. The least you can do is allow yourself the experience to learn about new things and grow as a person before criticizing something that you OBVIOUSLY don't understand. The only thing you can say about these organizations were their social aspects (calls, symbols, etc.). Do you even know about the work organizations put into the community? Why don't you at least spend a year at a college, and then you can criticize? Or better yet, take HamptonBeauty_08's advice and go to Howard or something. If you think the cafe tables were too much at HU, try another school where they have real plots that you better not even stand near :?
"Cite your work before you hand in your paper." think about that? My brotyher is a q-dog and he on some serious unnecessary behavior. Like i said before I understand the beneficial networking but barking at females aint kosher...soroities violating other females like its they job to do so. I've done papers and read on the fraternities and i know about initiations i know about the pros they do in the community but u gotta admit its just like a gang.
I'm sure you learned this in high school  : stereotype: 1. A conventional, formulaic, and oversimplified conception, opinion, or image; 2. To give a fixed, unvarying form to. ^^^yep, that's what you're doing. To form a conclusion of an entire group of organizations based on the actions of a small percentage of the people in them is a stereotype. Hell, white people might as well say that all black men are lazy, do ****, and commit crimes........it happens, so would they be wrong in their findings? (if you say yes, please don't go to an HBCU) BTW, you seem to know little about intiations, because they vary from organization to organization and chapter to chapter. Besides, people will do to you only what you allow them to do (think on that  ). If you want my sources, check my sig  (even though I prefer to call it a "social fellowship", since that is our title)

Umm. Drama King.. don't come to Howard.. cuz greek life runs this place, so you might be up to your ears w/ it... You said your brother is a "q-dog"... but I'm starting to think that he's not.. First off, you'd know never to refer to one of them as such because you are not an Omega (am I the only one that caught this?) Why don't you ask your brother what's good.. I mean.. you are "legacy" now.. I have a feeling that your brother will be more lenient w/ you then the people on this site... Fraternities and sororities are not gangs.. that is a negative point of view from someone who hasn't done enough research... one the other hand, I retract my first statement.. Bring your **** to Howard!!!! You gotta learn.. shyt.... or take your **** to FAMU.. the only reason you might see frats and sororities as a gang is because they take care of their own.. that is the true meaning of brother/sisterhood.... I mean.. If you had 9 bros & sisters that were completely loyal to you and protected you and your family name to the umpth degree would y'all be considered a gang? Let that simmer.... Oh.. and to save the breath, I'll hop off your dicc now...if you had one homie....

Okay, Drama King... at first I felt bad for you not enjoying Hampton and whatnot.. I thought that maybe there WAS something wrong with my school if you weren't enjoying it, and maybe I should think a little harder... But you just proved to me that you were a complete and total idiot. I'm sorry for being so mean, but that line about how you "beat" an AKA is just... it was a stupid thing to say. *smh* Please... go to Howard. Now. Don't wait for the school year to start. Take a year off, do what you gotta do.. just please don't come to Hampton. You blacken my university's name.
I am not a greek but, you should come to Howard to better yourself my bro. (just playing my brother) continuing on with the conversation...

Hello Mr. Drama King, First of all you're not KaySlay so please stop it, Second do a full school year before you talk about greekdom, and I do understand this is a message board, but before you post make yourself understandable, intellect, smart, and obtain knowledge...Basically you sound like a stupid **** who have no knowledge, now that's drama!!!!
