You are toooo young to be in a serious relationship! Experience college life and life in general. Then after you grow as a person and he is still there-then go ahead and be in a serious relationship.

Yeh i feel waht u are saying and my bf said the same thing and thas why we are jus takin it one day at a time so we can be together in the future. Im not about the whole dating scene...and all that i jus rather be with one person. I mean i have a love, best friend, and who gets that with every guy they meet. Im sorry but im keepin my man.

well its been the opposite for me..his folks like me..but my folks wasnt to fond of him...so it kinda ended our relationship..and just became friends

BACK IN HIGH SCHOOL...MY EX-BOYFRIEND'S MOM DIDNT LIKE ME..AND IT REALLY BOTHERED ME...SO WHEN HE CONFRONTED HER ABOUT IT (THEY DIDNT HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP) SHE MADE IT SEEM LIKE SHE TREATED ALL HER SON'S GIRLFRIENDS (NOW WIVES) THE SAME WAY...BUT IT DID AFFECT OUR RELATIONSHIP BECAUSE I WOULDN'T LIKE TO GO OVER THERE OR EVEN HOLD A SIMPLE CONVO WITH HER.... BUT AFTER THEY HAD THAT TALK SHE MADE IT HER PERSONAL BUSINESS TO BE EXTRA NICE TO ME...

I'm kinda goin this situation right now....but its the other way around. Its MY mother that don't like my boyfriend. She is a minister and is against the whole "dating" thing in the first place. And its not like my boyfriend is a rude person....i dont know what the deal with her is. She says he is a nice guy-but one day when he called my house-he didnt hold a nice convo with her and she said that he was disrespectful for that so now he feels uncomfortable to come to my house or anything. Im trying to work with it, but its hard when u and ur moms relationship aint tight at all. :x

yeh gurl, at first my mom wasnt really feeling the whole thing until she met him and saw that he is a very nice guy. Now she loves him. I mean his mom still treats me nice n all, but there is still that vibe u kno. It is hard for me and i thought it would mess things up, but my man is starting to jus ignore it. Im not gonna try to suck up to her, but jus keep treating her and te family with respect. I do feel ur bf when he feels uncomfortable with going over there cuz i feel the same way.
