This is how it goes
the situation: my first year at my HBCU i hated it, so i decided to transfer....that didn't exactly work out to my advantage, so i decided to enroll back at my former school.....
problem: how the hell do i go back to a school, which i hated and laughed at, as i left...
i mean, im a 20 year old young man with integrity, dignity, and self respect....how pathetic looking is it for me to crawl back to the place i loathed/despised now knowing that it was a dumb decision for me to even leave???? (im also still gonna be considered a sophomore for some reason  )
i mean, am i suppose to blend in like i never left?
the friend situation is kinda shaky 2, since i basically lost contact with most of the n!ggaz i chilled with
the whole thing just feels weird to me, and i could use some friendly advice, or at least some sort of empathy....
holla at me
p.s. im kinda giving this specific HBCU its right to anonymity .....should that matter tho
Dr. Ash wrote:I understand that you kinda feel like an **** for talking so much ****about the old school in the first place, but at least you are mature enough to admit it was a mistake and go back to finish working towards a degree. Just take it as a lesson learned and keep on pressin. Don't worry how things "look" to other folks because you're not in school to please them, and it's not their life or their job to judge you. If someone wants to be a friend, they'll ask you (on the side) what's up and try to help you readjust, simple as that, if not, don't fool with em. Oh yeah, you may be classified as a sophomore because they may not have accepted all of the credits from your other school, but hey, don't trip on that either cuz sometimes it comes along with the program. Either way, keep ya head up and get that degree!
