I'm from CA, and I've been tryin to train myself for that eastern time, but it seems like it's not gonna work (I only woke up at 7 out here lol). So can anybody tell me if I really need to train for the time change, or will it just come naturally.

I'm from Cali too and i know that most peeps didn't have a problem with it, but i'm a nite owl anyway, so the time difference didn't help matters much. I would always go to sleep late...and wake up late lol. On average i would to sleep anywhere between 3 am-5 am. My friends would call me from Cali and it would only be like 11 or 12 over there and after a few minutes of talkin it would hit them and they would be like "dang, wait a minute...what are u still doin up? Don't u have a class?"
And as for the car thing...TRUST...u do NOT want to drive in dc. The streets are narrow, the traffic is bad, and it's just a backwards city with streets that go in circles and jumble all up. Plus, parking is BAD and mad expensive everywhere u go. You're better off just takin the metro and callin it a day. The only time i truly wanted for my car was when grocery time came around, extreme "i need such and such" emergencies, and move out day.

The hills, the sun and the humidity mixed together are no joke! I am going to miss my car SO much. I think we should revise the Subject of this post! New SUBJECT: ADJUSTING TO EAST COAST HUMIDITY
