Blame God!!!

I honestly, do believe in God. He has been with me through the good and the bad. Lately, I have heard a lot of people blaming God for what happened to them or for what they did. I even heard someone blame God for killing their brother and he doesn't think a god exists. Not too many people stop and think about what they had done or what they had brought on themselves. They even blame the devil too, but they blame God more. People, think before you act and don't blame God for your mistakes! God loves you.

I'm sorry but no where in the Bible I own does it say anything about punishing the good and loving and rewarding the **** and venegeful. Was that what you were trying to say? That is says that in the Bible? Cuz i feel a tad bit off track here :? And I apologize in advance because I may not be as up to par on translation history of the Bible and what not but i dont know....that just aint sittin to right with me...i gotta do a lil research. but yea i dont know about all that european, ****, hypocritical god who saved from being "unholy savages" stuff. I believe there is one supreme God who is the color or water. I believe in the God that my great great great grandparents called on in their times of need during slavery. A merciful and all-knowing God who has been good to me and everyone on this board just for allowing us to wake up this morning. I dont know about the rest of that mess, but thats the God that I beileve in.

man i got class and ish, and yall want me to explain ish :lol: .....ok......here we gooooo...this may not make sense to any of yall, but i find it quite hypocritical that the bible will punish a man to eternal damnation for loving another man but yet as in today's current events....ok following me now...bush thinks by following the bible he is following god's word by killing innocent iraquis overseas and other people feel this way as well, especially other republicans...which i do not believe god meant when he said to "spread his word....folllllowwinnng me??...believe me i ramble so stop me if ya dont understand :lol: ...the god that bush and others seem to follow in america is a god who kills and is severly judgemental and is **** because of differences...and i dont believe in that type of god....now as i said before ethiopians were the first africans to practice the religion before the mid atlantic **** trade was even THOUGHT OF...and their bible that they received from the middle east and their god were a tad different than the one we were taught, well thats what historians said.....reason being, i dont know...but due to translation the european bible we hold so dear, that has been edited by the different european popes throughout the centuries with entire stories thrown out is the bible we cherish so dearly.....and i refuse to listen to something that may be potentially false and that has been interpreted and translated in so many different ways by the very people that meant to enslave our minds in the first place.....if i want gods word, ill hear it when i pray but i refuse to read the scripture to find his word besides its not necessary....another thing......i refuse to adapt the text that was forced upon us that has been edited so clearly to make slavery look as though "it was our destiny so we could receive his word" as automatically "good"...the only reason slaves embraced the bible was because we didnt have anything left of the remnants of our culture and different religions, and because we were told we were stupid, savage beasts for thinking of anything besides christ...i mean its not like we could practice voodoo freely in public especially since we could automatically be **** or whipped on the spot......ok maybe that didnt explain anything cause like im rambling :wink: but the point is...that with the way the religion is now with the war on **** and all this religious conservatism these days, its teaching us to hate and discriminate and i dont believe that the original purpose of the bible was to do that..and i believe it was tainted as soon as europeans touched their filthy hands upon it...until i know the 'true" original bible, im believing what god tells me in prayer

nevermind i cant explain my views anyways since im not technically "christian"....welp not the european **** version.....so carry on and ignore me :arrow: ....i didnt say a word..and i dont have time to make philosophical posts with homecoming and these midterms :lol:

by this you are assuming that bush is the "unofficial saint" of america. technically bush can say whatever he wants to say about the Bible and anyone else for that matter but to me it seems like you are actually believeing that what bush says goes. of all people i think the last person someone would look to engage in conversation about religion would be bush. you shouldn't partially base your belief system in his twisted ideas of what the bible says. bush aint no man of God i can tell u that now...so why listen to what he thinks? just something to ponder on :arrow: also another thing about how european folks translated the bible and what-not. even if that does have an inckling of being true...what was bad about it. i mean im all for black empowerment and what-not and i could totally understand if there were verses in the bible that talked about white power and how those that dont follow the teachings of european **** will be sent to eterenal damnation but i mean that isnt the case so what is the point? the bible is the truth. have u picked up a bible and read one? becuase if you havent than frankly your points are invalid because you cant speak on something you have never taken the time to study--which is totally differnt from knowing its origin. but this is all just something to think about. i truly respect your opinions and stuff and we're just goin to agree to disagree. cuz yea i got midterms and ish too and i gots to get my study on... its all good from me to you :wink:

i dont know why i am gettin the feeling that most people that say they arent christian say so becuase of a bad personal experince with someone who is a christian. whatever happened to forgettin what other people say and....never mind...forget it...waste of breath...where is the nearest exit :arrow:

Let me do the best I can with the Holy Ghost as my guide to persuade the many young people that view opinions on this sight. First of all I love the Lord. I'm blessed to be amongst the living to see my wife and my son and to talk with my mother and family and to see the 3-5 year old faces as I teach. I'm truly blessed to have a Savior who was willing to take my place on the cross and die for me, a sinner. Things that have happened to us or to someone we love or those we may not know happen because it is just their time to depart from us. It is sad that it happens, but life is unpredictable and we do not have the power to place a time limit on life. In fact that is not our job description. Whatever happens, God is God regardless. When my grandmother was taken from me this year, I cried like a baby...because she promised me she would not leave me until I was set and happy and pastoring. Well, she did make it to see it (figuratively) she was totally blind...but even though I loved my grandmother and wanted her to remain to see what God was doing for me, God loved her more in calling her home so she wouldn't have to suffer anymore. Now she can see, now she can watch over me where ever I am. I say all that to say this, you all have a wonderful God, in spite of tragedies that you witness...God is true. God draws our attention when we get complacent in our walk towards christianity or when we fall away and forget the many blessings that has come to us. So never blame God for things that we do not understand. To understand God is to experience God, to know God is to read about God...and you can find Him from Genesis to Revelation. The reason I have not given any bible scriptures to back up what we are writing is because you all need to take time and look in it to find things that fit you and what you are going through. I may place a scripture on here and it may not pertain to anything that fits you. That is why you have to visit the word and let the word marinate your heart and desire to return to it over and over again. I pray that this will help enlighten meny of you to go and try to understand your creator and your savior. Pray constantly and don't talk so much in your prayer but take time to hear God say something to you...and make sure that it is quiet with no distractions. You can hit me up anytime if you need to drop a line to me. I praise God for my young person who directed me to this sight. God is going to reach a lot of young souls through this site. God Bless and God keep...a lot of hugs and handpounds to you all.
