Is it tru that the AKAs discriminate on darksin women and if you pledge you have to pass a brown paper bag test. I am asking because i am darkskin,and i don't know why,but my desire has always been to pledge to become an AKA.If someone could get back to me asap,i would greatly appreciate it.

Oh boy... :roll: not another one of these "greek misconceptions" conversations again. You are not supposed to join an organization for what their stereotype is anyway. You are supposed to join for their values and purpose. It sounds like if you do make it, you will be yet another letter wearer... My advice: Save yourself the time and stress and buy a pink and green outfit at the mall. :lol:

DAMN !!!!!! I can't believe you came and asked this dumb **** question !!!!!! So you dark and what ????? You think all AKA are light skin and thin...(Well....LOLOLOLOL).....but you need to worry this grades coumminty services and your character.....if that is in tact then all of the other B.S. will be just that !!!!

my grandmother was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha and she was dark brown... thats one of thoes nasty sterotypes... about AKA's all greek letter orgs have some kind of negative said about them i could list them but what is the point... with the net you can research about each org...
