Aight its like this. Yeah I voted Kerry cuz my grandma told me to. But if ya looked at the debates Bush views were alot better. Bush came out and said "there will be no draft we pay soldiers good money and people are volunteering" Kerry said "I will do whatever is necessary to end this war quickly" So if Kerry won and declared a draft what would ya do then?

I don't care if I got pregnant on purpose If I want to get an **** I should be able to make that choice, cause it's my body. Bush ain't gon babysit, feed, stay up all night, go through labor pains, die from malpractice or give his millions of dollars to women who have the babies.

Thats when it gets to an issue of personal responsibility.

There are many who have had abortions when they were younger that really regret it right now. If there were a law blocking it, they wouldnt have had it.

^Cause it's more than that. A lot of babies, especially black babies aren't being adopted and so many women die from being pregnant period.

I honestly don't think if Kerry won he would've declared a draft; he would get waaaay too much opposition. And I think Kerry has more of a realistic view on war and how a draft like the one used with Vietnam would do more harm than good. I'm mad Bush won though because for me the war on Iraq and **** was not the major concern. Im more worried about women's reproductive rights, unemployment, this fat **** deficit the country is facing, funding for HBCUs (which is something ALOT of you all who go to state hbcus should be concerned about http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A12377-2004Oct30.html ), and stem cell research. I think in this election too many people who blindly voted for Bush were too concerned about winning this bullshyt war on **** and not worried enough about the domestic issues which will have the greatest effect on us all. And to say that if **** were legal back in the day women would not have had them is an untrue statement. Before **** was legalized with the Roe v. Wade case in 1973, women were still getting them, whether they were paying large amounts to have doctors do them or they were getting backdoor abortions with wire hangers and bicycle spokes. If **** was made illegal today women who wanted them would still get them. [url]

ok rod, even though bush's "views" were better he never ACTED ON THEM....of course he said soldiers were getting paid good money especially since during his term he signed to lessen soldier's pay by 30% ..and of course he is trying to reassure people about the war even while soldiers are begging home to their family RIGHT NOW asking for ARMY equipment such as walkie-talkies, that i guess bush's vision chose to ignore....heck i'd say anything to win the election to......and accordingly bush said alot of things in office to pacify the public and get their vote...while the uneducated thought this election was simply about a 4 year term....welp REALITY CHECK, its about choosing the next 3 supreme court justices...yep we screwed ourselves over for the next 40-50 years about supreme court decisions since 2 are retiring and 1 is deathly ill which bush's appointments would make it a ENTIRELY CONSERVATIVE, RIGHT WING supreme court, especially about affirmative action, so right now im laughing at the whole thing and how people are chanting "4 more years".....if yall only knew what yall just did yesterday....4 more years my ****  .....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......didnt say i warned ya...dont come crying when your pell grant gets taken away due to the abolition of affirmative action when it comes before court again in 2007 you younger ones :? ....*watching tv closely to see who bush will appoint over the next few years, cause it damn sure wont be a black liberal like thurgood marshall thats for sure....watch out for clarence thomas JR.... but anyways never gonna be a draft, if there is i would suggest yall go to brazil and then sail overseas, just because you can get a cheap brazilian passport and its a huge country no overcrowding...welp thats what my afro-american history professor suggested lol
