Alpha NPHC Frats and Sororities Please Enter..I Need Ur Help

What's Up y'all? My name is Carlton and I am a member of the E-lite Chapter of the Mobile Kappa League(the Jay Crosby Award winnin' chapter, meanin' we are the #1 in the nation). Anyways, I'm a junior and my advisors have been trying to raise me to be a Kappa, but I wanted to make sure I researched all other Greek frats because I know that being in Kappa League doesn't mean I have to automatically be a Kappa(there have been members to become an Omega, Alpha, etc). So anyways, I was wondering if I could get some members of Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, and Iota Phi Thetha to tell me a little bit about each of their organizations, so that I could be better equipped to make a Decision. Also if their are any sorority members who would be able to give their opinions on the best frat for me to join that would be greatly appreciated as well, thanks in advance guys.

Look I made the post because I wanted some serious help, not to receive a bunch of smart answers. I mean I do research websites and stuff, but of course they are only going to have what the frat has done well and the basic stuff like their positions on hazing, etc. Theres not much of a true Greek life down here(other than high school, etc) for me to really tell and I'm really the only person in my family who is involved and interested in Greeks, I mean I really don't have anybody to go to about this kind of a problem except my KL advisors and of course they are going to say Kappa Alpha Psi(which is a give-in). Ohhh I'm being smart now?? I'm gonna be "smart" for just a second... When I was interested in being greek, i RESEARCHED my info..I went to different people's websites, i bought books that told me about each organization and I watched around on my campus or in your case, when i was at other schools I watched their Greek (sorry Mobile aint poppin like that) and went to events that I could watch Greek's interactions...Now when i decided on my choice, i also learned a method called DISCRETION that allowed me to be open with my choice to those who REALLY mattered, yet telling people I DONT KNOW. Therefore, I knew my info when I attempted to join my organization and now I am a proud SGRho. To be blunt since you dont like smart...First, of all you dont need NO SERIOUS HELP b/c you are a JUNIOR in HS. You aint even got a DIPLOMA, let alone been accepted to a college being a junior in HS! Have you even taked your SATs? or ACT whatever Alabama offers down there....FINISH SCHOOL FIRST. Second, There is going to be NO fraternity that is going to come on here and explain to you all FIVE fraternities out there so that you can choose. I dont know if you have seen all these other messages from other HS people who ask the same question as you and have been shut down with LOL and "free post" messages..If it was that easy, then you wouldn't of even had to post this b/c someone would have already done it for the first person. But they didnt SO, if you are really trying to be in a organization, you need to do you RESEARCH!!! :roll:

32 on the ACT...no problem with being accepted into a college. Now that that is settled, I will concede that the not looking for "smarta** answers" comment was out of line but I got tired of trying to research and not really finding anything too helpful and of course people in here weren't really helpful either. Maybe I need to go branch out and look at other cities campuses to help me out. Sorry for the attitude though.
