1. Sure they do. I think that we need more Black Republicans or at least Independents to even out the playing field. It's not too smart to put all of our eggs in one basket. The Democrats already know that they have the "Black support", so they really don't have to offer us anything new to get our vote. The democrats are all about telling us what we want to hear....but oddly enough, they won't show it to us. this explains why i am a republican...i think the republicans are in the process of chaning into the party that supports what blacks need today...all of that crap (affirmative action, welfare) that the dems gave us isn't working to get us out of poverty...we need jobs and we need to keep the money that we make...but let me also add we need to improve OUR schools and set the system up properly to give our kids the best chances at being successful.... the state of florida is a perfect republican utopia...this is where i;'m from by the way. florida has it set up with the help of a lottery that any kid with a 2.5 GPA and a 850 SAT score has half of thier college tuition payed for to any state school...a 3.5 gpa and 1000 get 75% payed for, and a 4.0 and 1270 is full ride... with that help, the only excuse a person has for remaining in poverty is themselves...i dunno maybe the school systems at fault...like i said, we need to set high standars for our schools...esp inner city schools... but anyway, with a college education, a cat can bring himself out of poverty... and welfare and affrimative action? non of these have been proven to bring people out of poverty. in the state of florida, affirmative action was stopped in all state colleges in like 1990 something...therre were blacks and dems calling bush's brother jeb a racist and protesting at the capital...they were convinced that this is what blacks needed to get a colleg education and that without affirmative action, the number of minorities in college would drop... welp, under jeb bush's watch, the number of minorities in colleg in florida has increased! affirmative action is not neede to get black kids into college... and don't make me start on welfare.... the countries welfare system does nothing but create generational cycles of people totally dependant on the government...inner city people even scheme and startagise on how to recieve more benefits! if i have one more child,,,ect... and let me remind you that president clinton was forced to sign the welfare reform bill kicking and screaming... why do the dems want us to be dependant on welfare? there's no proof that it gets large groups of u out of poverty...is it to keep us dependant? and if we're dependant, that means we're dependant on a political party that give us what we feel we need...this explains why blacks are the democrat party's most loyal group...black leaders in the democrat party have put together a conspiracy to make us feel that we need the dems benefits...and any one who sees different is a sellout to thier race (black republicans... we don't need any of the crap that dems are giving us I agree that we should get together and do for our own, but when Sharpton was doing his thing, all Blacks could talk about was his hair (good job to the media for portraying him in a comical light)....very few actually voted for him. lol...the only thing funnier than al sharpton's hair was his political ideas... where you listening to anything the cat was saying? the guy's a complete assclown! the man obviously doen't understand how to defeeat **** in the long run...and don't let me get started on his domestic ideas...this guy would bankrupt the country... alls he wants to do is steal from the rich and give to the poor... why do **** think this is a good idea? do they feel guilty for ahving all of the money they have or something? yeah i do support my black folk, but micheal jackson and r kelly are also black. that ought to keep my crazy political babe back on this site for a while :? fine ****>>
