Im from dc (but im more northern than most dc people) and i go to Grambling. Big **** change for me!! But it grew on me. I've been here since 2002 and now its like my second (or 3rd or 4th) home cuz of my friedns. I've done most of my traveling here at Grambling (from Dallas, Houston, Austin, Texas to Miami to ATL, to New Orleans to Detroit to even Kentucky). Its been fun. And the students who go to Louisiana schools have the joy of having 2 breaks in the Spring- Mardi Gras break and Spring Break. Cant get better than that. Yeah, Grambling is definitely a small town (or village, if you been here you know what im talkin bout). Every thing on campus is a 5-10 minute walk. But people seem to get along with each other if they check the attitude at the door. I know how us northerners can be. Just one piece of advice: When in the South do as the Southerners do. If you remember this, then you'll be alirhgt.
