I've signed in under guest for obvious reasons... but is it true that the Delta's at Hampton are suspended? I ask this because it really affects my reasoning for being here.

Another thing, PLEASE know the principles of the organization. It will not be looked at favorably that you are transferring strictly to pledge. If you are a freshman, you'll more than likely get your chance, and there is so much more to Hampton University than Greek Life...ask any Greek, they'll tell you the same. If you are a sophomore or junior, you obviously didn't make line anyway.
As I stated before, it would be a FACTOR in me transferring. I didn't say it's soley the reason why I would transfer. And what did I say to make you think I would have been joining the organization for the wrong reasons? Think about why you go to a college. To experience college life and the other lives that come with it like activites, organizations, clubs, dorm life, and... sorority life. If it wasn't for those things you would just go to a community college. ***ONE*** of the reasons I came to a university was to pledge because I wanted to be apart of an organization that has produced some intellectual women, those in my family and those who were involved in my life some kind of way. And I am a freshman, I can't even go to a rush yet. And, yeah, I know you don't go public with your aspirations to pledge.

^^^Wow......I thought people come to college for a degree (but maybe that's just me ). You don't need to become a member of an organization to become an intellectual woman. I would hope that the women in your life were intellectual before they joined an organization. All of the organizations I know of choose intellectual women, they don't birth them. Besides, you're a freshman....you have plenty of time left. Unless there is some other major factor that you are concerned about here at HU, I don't see why a sorority's suspension affects your reasoning for being here.

Well, yeah, of course you come to get a degree. But you can get a degree at community college as well. But you come to a university or college for the life as well to. But nevermind, I just asked a simple question and yall are being negative for one putting to much into it. Forget I ever asked.
