When & where is the open house? I never got it. And no I don't know anything about that scholar program, that's cool if you get to go up there early though.

open house is April 15 or April 22 9am to 12pm

Yeah please tell me all about it because I cant make it. Oh course I will have to work so everyone who is going enjoy and please give full details. Good, Bad, ****,etc. I want to know everyting. When will we know about the orientation and all that stuff because I have been seeing post about orientation at VSU, CAU. What's really good? I am ready to start making those plans so I can get up out of Charlotte. So whoever has info..... Holla @ ya girl LOL

Well I know that I am not going to Open House. I wish I could but I cant get off of work to go. I dont know when my next visit will be but I do know that it will be before I graduate. But all of yall who going tell me how it is PPPPLLLLEEEAAASSSEEE!

Hey guys! I have read a little bit of the posts about Howard and I had a few questions of my own ....I am a freshman attending HU in the Fall ('05) ! These questions are more so on a female tip (well just this one) about the Quad...how big are the dorms?are they really small?triples and doubles? I know thats a lot but nobody has really answered my questions. Orientations? I'm not too sure if there is a mandatory Orientation and when it is? A few other students are talking about a Pre-Orientation that is $230 and I had to sign up for it?, but i think they are wrong....??????? Ok on a better note....I can't wait to get to Howard and make new friends....definitely would appreciate having sum new ones before I get there....so everybody get back at me! And i'm so mad at my friend who was supposed to go to Howard but decided to stay in NYC .....now I really need to make new friedns; lol! Anyway I know that was a lot and i kinda went off on a tangent a little, but if anybody could answer atleast one of my questions I would really appreciate it! Thanx!

there's a pre orientation usually early to midsummer. It's not mandatory but it's highly suggested. It's a way for incoming freshman to learn alil bit about the school before their first day. Plus you can meet with your prfessors you'll most likely be dealing with. I know that this is also where my sister met her 2 best friends at Howard.
