Wasn't that in a poem written by Maya Angelou????!?!?! I don't think it was true, I think she was just trying to make us aware of buying into labels.....
Maya Angelou did not write that garbage poem Clothes. Someone fabricated it and placed her name on it. It has been surfacing on the internet every since then.
lol....THANK YOU...That poem has been on the net forever...and Maya even came out and said she never wrote that poem....and as far as that whole ****/Timberland boots thing...I wanna know where people gettin they information from cause so many people have said this, but dont no one know where it came from.

Yea, ne of the Native American Ladies at my church told me.. I haven't worn timbos, in a min though, i still have them. and all, but you know what baffels me about the **** is they aint orginal, they get their mask thing from a black cuban festval tradition. "White Power" derivied from "Black Power" Sir. Stokley Chamicheal or Kwame Ture. And i got a question.. Didn't a black person create the streetlight and peanut butter and a lot of the stuff they use?

precisely...great observations! but ya'll know what? i remember hearing about this as well....and if it IS true....your first guess would be "well damn...maybe Blacks shouldn't wear them if that's the case".... but quite the contrary....they HATE Black people (and any other person of color, really), so if that's really the case (how much they hate us), they should hate us wearing their product.... the only messed up part, tho, comes when u think about them making a profit off of us :???:....and if a **** member really is the founder (or whatever) of the shoe, i'm sure that is what he has counted on..... suckz, when u think about it like that....

everything that is being said is the truth but whites hate us so much that they will hide the truth behide what they own or make so we will use it and the system in America was made to ut blacks down and be at the bottom of the food chain(Im talking about money wise, etc...) that they lable their own as poor white trash. Now aint that sad
