What do you ladies do about affording physical upkeep? As far as getting your hair done and stuff. Do you do your hair yourself or is there a salon close to your campus? I currently have a wrap and I definitely require upkeep. I also know that Hampton University requires that you take P.E. WHICH INCLUDES SWIMMING WTF! :x

My hair stylist is off Mercury Blvd...but fortunantely I have friends who don't mind driving me and I took a cab the last time and it was like $12 each way. See, that's exactly why I'm taking bowling as my PE next semester....I'm still trying to figure out how bowling relates to Pharmacy.....

This is a good topic ... I am a junior in high school rite now and I diddnt know PE was available in College lol thats good tho because I was planning on going to the Gym anyways because I diddnt want to gain weight in college :-) ... But sVVImming is a negative lol i dont want to get my hair wet ! But thats koO how your able to pick what you want.... About the hair situation... I have been going to the same lady to get my hair done since I was in the 7th grade and I dont like to go to new people to do my hair because I am always afraid they will mess it up ... Next year I am thinking about getting my hair cut really short so I wont have to mess with it in college ... rite now I have to get a relaxer every 5 weeks and get it conditioned and all that every two weeks and it gets expensive ... the only reason why I am able to afford it rite now is because I have a job after school but in college I am not planning on working and I know I am not going to want to send me $100 + dollars a month to get my hair done so I am just going to get a short cut :-)
