when did you realize you were a grown **** woman??

this isnt for highschool girls, sorry but recently ive just now come to the realization that i have matured into a grown **** woman...before i was kinda immature but ive come to a point in my life where im sure of myself....it happened when i changed my major to marketing and didnt listen to anyone's opinions about what i should do in life, even disregarding my mom's opinions and plenty of hateration....so ladies when did you realize you were a grown **** woman and what happened?? *reppin for grown **** women, class of 2007, cant drink but can smoke and drive and got plenty dreams in my head

it seems to me that emotionally, women don't mature until thier 30s...they fall for any old bullcrap that men tell them and are attracted to the wrong type of guys...they let thier emotions control thier lives and they allow themselves to be manipulated by any old body....yeah they pay bills, got the job and whatnot, but emotionally they'er still little girls...i find that a woman with a good spiritual backround usually reaches maturity sooner than yall 'loose" chicks... women have to get more control of thier emotions to become mature...guys are different...our goal is to gain more self control...we have a problem with expressing ourselves through aggresion and whatnot....not reaching out and trying to solve our problem on our own...and letting the cuncha lead our lives....our goal is to...man i dunno... what the hell am i talking about? 8-) (nessa)

Awww phooey! Emotionally, I've been through soo much sh*t in my life it's crazy! I've matured in so many ways through my experiences, and I think I'm finally a full functioning "grown ****" woman. You can't generalize all women and say we don't mature until our thirties. Thats like saying all men act like big **** children until......... :???: ......hmmm, when I think about, men always act like big **** children.

The fact remains...Humans are filled with emotions. Maybe, Women moreso than men but that's LIFE. Also, i think that experiences and the shullbit that women have to put up with play major parts in that. ------------------------------ I came to that realization a few years ago. The life experiences helped with molding me into the woman that i am.

where have you been at and why do you have me sleeping on this cot? yeah but do i have a point about women being emotionally immature? i mean yeah you might be reponcible with paying bills, have own car, college degree, ect ect....yeah you can be RESPONCIBLE (i guess in my head, that's what's being seen as a grown **** women in this thread), but that doen't make you a grown **** woman....my niece cleans up her room every morning, does that make her a grown **** woman? but in my 2 years of being in the real world, i find that women with strong spiritual backrounds are more emotionaly mature than thier peers... what the hell am i talking about here? i just wanted to type to missjazzy AKA... 8-) (nessa) *waves* hey sweetie! :grin:

I thought I was a grown **** woman when I was a junior in college at SCSU living in my own place, paying my own bills, and going to school fulltime. But I was paying my bills with money my parents sent me, and I was still a child in many many ways. As a mature woman I now realize that being a grown **** woman mean knowing and respecting yourself. It's not about paying bills, or owning cars, or even homes. It's about waking up each morning knowing who you are, what you want, and what you will and will not accept from other people in your lives.

Emotions have very little to do with maturity and a female can have a strong spiritual background at the age of 17 but be immature in every other area. Women do not have immature emotions, to suggest that you would have to trace that to a physiological basis, and look at the brain and gender differnces and the truth is that males and females are not very different in any physiological sense, the differences all come from experiences, so you can not generalize a group of people who do not share the same experiences. It's funny how males comment of women's emotions and how some may display too many emotions in life as if its a weakness, yet if you were to come across a woman who was the opposite and showed very little emotion, and cared very little for how her behavior effects others, people would probably think she is a cold-hearted person and wouldn't want to be around her much. Often what makes a woman ... a great woman is her ability to express her emotions properly, and use those same emotions to fuel her strength, courage, motivation, and nurturing tendencies. I do agree that being a woman/man is not measure by the bills you pay, you can pay all of your bills consistently, two weeks before they are due, you may have good credit but you can still be selfish, irresponsible in other aspects, not learn from any of your mistakes, unableto hold yourself accountable for you actions, unmotivated, with little ambition, and think that life is just a big game that you play at the expense of others.
