Now I appreciate and love HBCU's as much as the next person who takes pride in their culture. And that's why an HBCU (Howard) is my choice of school.
But that statement is completely false.
As i said before, I love and am attending an HBCU in the fall, so this post has absolutely nothing to do with putting down an HBCU, it is simply fact so i can help other people in their decision process etc. And I agree with everything everyone has said besides that statement, but i just had to comment on this one because everyone always says that, but it's not true. And if u notice, it's always
students who make that comment. I severely doubt if u went to your professor and asked him if howard and harvard offer the same education he would agree that they do. There's a reason why they're in the top 5. Their work load, and sometimes even their work material, is completely higher than that of Howards. Also, many of their professors are absolute geniuses, which directly affects the content of the work. When i picked Howard as my first choice of school i realized that later in life i "may" be looked over by a boss if i were going for a job against someone who graduated from an Ivy League school, but that was a chance i was/am willing to take to have a great experience at my college, and still receive a
great education. Anyway, I think that's enough blabbing outta me :?
I agree with this guy. Though HBCUs are an incredible place, you simply cant compare the quality of education. And this rabbit kid must have a lot of misdirected anger towards pwi's (how many did he get regected from?)
