I heard this story on the radio yesterday, and I thought I'd share it. Here's the audio. Just listen to 1:45-5:40. What do you think of transracial adoption, specifically White parents adopting Black children?

i thinks it's ok, but i think a lot of these big timing blacks should invest into their community and do something about it themselves. i have alwaysed thought about adopting children, forstering, etc, and i think it's important that more of us do.

i dont see anything wrong with a white family adopting a black child or vice versa, but personally, i would have no part in adopting any white kids.

Hmm actually I plan on adopting a girl from africa and asia where females aren't treated well. I think as long as ya love the kid then, who cares...

I don't say anything wrong. As long as it is a loving home and they are genuinely good ppl I do not see the problem. As in Lady J said if it is better than their current situation it's a positive move.

I don't care. Just as long as these kids get a decent home. Personally, I would adopt me a Native American child. Mohican preferably, or Apache. Learn the ways of the Warrior. :-) Thunder
