Here's my list:
-I am no longer a broke college student, I am a broke adult who needs a job ASAP! I get no sympathy anymore...lol
-Mommy and Daddy aren't lending me anymore money
-All my high school friends are ghetto, and 85% of them have kids
-My neighborhood gets ghettoer by the day
-Its cost too much to party in Chicago
-I can' get into any GOOD clubs w/o a fake id....
-I really don't fit in anymore, probably never did... :x
To be continued...

Here are some post Freshman year college REALIZATIONS on the real! Since my college freshman son done brought his backside home, I have realized the following:
* Ya is a BROKE...and I do mean seriously broke person who better hold on to these TWO jobs that we got you!
* Mom and Dad aint' lending you do-do. You NEVER pay back...so, here(throws money across the room) just take it and shut the "F" up!
* ALL yo high school friends and SOME of your college friends are ghetto.
* Keep sneakin these skanks in my house and you gonna be a daddy come Valentine's Day''06...
* Damn...do you EVER read a book???? WHEN was the last time you read a book? ( I realize that he don't read)
* We actually cant' wait for you to take your lazy **** back to school
* Yes, you do need to get yo **** up and go to the grocery store since you have eaten EVERYTHING in the fridge, on the shelves...
* Yes, the white neighbors (all we got) do think you were loud last night...It was 3:00am and the bass on the Navigator this morning was all the way up to 10...
* Yes, I realize that Today, I am a very angry mom...very! Son hit me with some 100% "BS" this morning. I went off and been mad every since.
I mo pray, take my power nap and then get me a nice glass of wine!

-No matter how much you think you have grown as an adult, your family will never hesitate to tell you otherwise
-Unless a guy has already finished college, is working to go to college, or already has a "real" job, maybe I don't have any business talking to him
-I have outgrown all of my "friends" from high school that are not in college
-You will forever be a puppet to your parents as long as they give you money
-I have developed a somewhat "bourgeouis" attitude (well, that's a lie, it's just become even more outward since I've been in school)
-I can't go to a club where you can get in with a white tee on anymore
- I can't deal with a certain "type" of people anymore, or stand to be around a large group of them
-I need to become financially independent
-I can no longer live at home during the summers, therefore I need my own apt. in New Orleans

-Aint nobody gonna take care of me anymore....so I gotta do it myself. That's 1/2 of the reason why school is in the backseat now.... more like in the trunk!
-The finest women will NOT become less materialistic...it only gets worse as the get older.
-Getting **** with a group of 4 or 5 trustable friends is one of the great things in life.
-I'm more conservative with my money. I almost let a couple thousand dollars just sit in the bank last year! Hopefully, that same $ will be all grown up in 5 years.
-I've learn to respect women even more than I did before.
-The thought of getting married/having children doesn't seem so far far away anymore.....
-After watching a few of my friends throw money down the drain, I realized that living in an apartment is NOT FOR ME. I'd rather pay a 35-year mortgage and have some property in my name. If I gotta live with mom/pops until I'm 24-25, it's OK.
-The scary reality that I may not go back to school has taught me that I MUST make life work in my favor as far as my finances/career future goes. Working in TV isn't all that bad, and if you stay at it long enough, you can make a really decent living.

I realized....
-It doesnt matter that I'm legal age, age isnt what makes you an adult. My mother wont consider me an adult until I get a job, and I'm not living under her roof (or using her money).
- I really am a broke college student....
- I have no friends back at home....after a few years in college, you lose track of all your friends from highschool or you change/they change, and it just isnt the same anymore.
